US Dollar Slightly Down, What About Other Currencies?

Kathmandu. Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign exchange rates for today (Wednesday). According to the rates set for today, the value of the US dollar has declined slightly. As per the determined exchange rate, the buying rate of one US dollar stands at NPR 143.37 and the selling rate at NPR 143.97.

Similarly, the buying rate of one European Euro has been fixed at NPR 168.77 and the selling rate at NPR 169.47. One UK Pound Sterling is being traded at a buying rate of NPR 193.76 and a selling rate of NPR 194.57, while the Swiss Franc has a buying rate of NPR 181.80 and a selling rate of NPR 182.56.

The Australian Dollar has been set at a buying rate of NPR 96.11 and a selling rate of NPR 96.51. The Canadian Dollar is being exchanged at NPR 104.69 for buying and NPR 105.13 for selling, while the Singapore Dollar stands at NPR 111.80 (buying) and NPR 112.27 (selling).

For the Japanese Yen, the rate for 10 units has been fixed at NPR 9.20 for buying and NPR 9.24 for selling. The Chinese Yuan has a buying rate of NPR 20.51 and a selling rate of NPR 20.60. Likewise, the Saudi Arabian Riyal stands at NPR 38.23 (buying) and NPR 38.39 (selling), and the Qatari Riyal at NPR 39.33 (buying) and NPR 39.50 (selling).

According to the central bank, the Thai Baht has been set at NPR 4.56 for buying and NPR 4.58 for selling. The UAE Dirham stands at NPR 39.04 (buying) and NPR 39.20 (selling), while the Malaysian Ringgit has been fixed at NPR 35.43 (buying) and NPR 35.57 (selling).

The buying rate for 100 South Korean Won has been set at NPR 9.94 and the selling rate at NPR 9.98. Similarly, the Swedish Kroner stands at NPR 15.60 (buying) and NPR 15.67 (selling), and the Danish Kroner at NPR 22.60 (buying) and NPR 22.69 (selling).

Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the buying rate of one Hong Kong Dollar at NPR 18.42 and the selling rate at NPR 18.50. The Kuwaiti Dinar is being traded at NPR 465.82 for buying and NPR 467.77 for selling, while the Bahraini Dinar stands at NPR 380.26 (buying) and NPR 381.85 (selling).

Similarly, the Omani Riyal has a buying rate of NPR 372.87 and a selling rate of NPR 374.43. The exchange rate for Indian currency has been fixed at NPR 160 for buying and NPR 160.15 for selling per INR 100.

Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these exchange rates may be revised at any time as required. The exchange rates determined by commercial banks may differ, and the updated rates will be available on the central bank’s website.
