Principal Shobhakhar Bhusal Honored with ‘International Excellence Award 2026’

Kathmandu: Shobhakhar Bhusal, Vice President of Private and Boarding Schools’ Organization Nepal (PABSON), Dang District Committee, and Principal of Little Angels School in Bhaluwang, Rapti Rural Municipality–1, Dang, has been honored with prestigious ‘International Excellence Award 2026’ for his significant contribution to the education sector and his valuable service to society and the nation.

Bhusal received the “Best Contribution in Education Field” award at the International Excellence Award 2026–Nepal and International Summit, held at the National Dance Theatre in Jamal, Kathmandu, on Saturday, Bhadra 20, 2083 BS.

The award and certificate of honor were presented by former Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Janata Samajbadi Party Nepal, Upendra Yadav, during a special ceremony chaired by Anmol Bhagat, Chairman of ABM Production.

According to the certificate of honor, Bhusal was recognized for his outstanding dedication to the education sector, notable achievements, and valuable contribution to society and the nation. He has been actively involved in the teaching and education sector for many years, contributing not only to students’ academic development but also to the promotion of their talents, creativity and positive values.

Speaking to this media outlet, Bhusal said that the recognition has provided him with additional encouragement and inspiration to work more effectively in the education sector.

The award ceremony was held under the slogan “…Celebrating Achievers, Honoring Excellence, Inspiring the Future” and honored individuals who have made outstanding contributions in various fields.

The recognition further highlights Bhusal’s continued dedication to education, his professional commitment and his role in contributing to positive social change. The International Excellence Award 2026 also reflects its broader objective of recognizing individuals who have demonstrated excellence, commitment and a strong spirit of service to society.

The award distribution ceremony was attended by Chief Guest Upendra Yadav, Federal Parliament member Binod Pahadi, former parliament member Chhiring Lama, Jagat Joshi, Khemraj Koirala and other distinguished personalities, who also addressed the gathering.
